This medicine will: Increase your venous tone and resistance in small blood vessels. There are studies outside usa like in europe and saudi arabia that showed improved symptoms in patients with hemorrhoids. It may increase your bp. I don't think the drug is use much in usa if at all. Consult your doctor and start treatment for your stage 1 hypertension asap.
