Could be thrombosed: This could be a thrombosed hemorrhoid if it is very dark colored. The other possibility is that you have an abscess, particularly if there is a foul smell. See a doctor to have this looked at. You may need to have a procedure performed for this. In the meantime, try sitz baths (soak in warm water) and ice packs.
