Hi there, i am experiencing a sharp pain at the back of my knee. im not sure if its a muscle, vein, or tendon. i did some exercises relating to jumpers knee. the pain moved to my entire leg. it started when i overstretched. please advise.

Strain vs tendonitis: Jumper’s knee refers to patellar tendonitis on the front of the knee. Not sure what you did regarding the back of the knee but hamstring insertions can become strained and the knee capsule could have been stretched. Try oral and topical NSAIDs, and go easy on the stretching for a few days. An elastic/compression knee brace could be helpful during this time. It would be doubtful if serious injury.
