Calcium disturbance: You may have electrolyte or calcium disturbance. You will need to have a blood test. If that is normal you should see a neurologist to make sure you do not have a movement disorder. Any family history?

Writers cramp: Or muscle spasm or focal dystonia can be caused by many different causes , metabolic, endocrine, fatigue, overuse, diet, etc .Work up is best by a pcp or family doctor in consult with a neurologist. At times there is no distinct cause.
