No: Excessive flatulence itself does not cause hemorrhoids, but certain foods or abdominal problems can cause both flatulence and hemorrhoids flares. In addition, if the flatulence is associated with leakage, this can cause rectal itching or burning.

No: A very fine and interesting question - if you have to push out that xs gas then maybe - but, as with most people in your situation - the xs gas just comes often it is effortless - therefore you will not be increasing the pressure in them hemorrhoidal veins - so, for now, you are safe - not sure about your friend though -.
