What does rotator cuff tear pain typically feel like at rest, say while sitting down with arm not doing anything?

Differs: Some people won't have pain @ their side , some do. Most have pain w/ their arm in overhead positions and pain @ night. Pain is described as " toothache" , throbbing pain when pts do have it @ rest.Usually the pain radiates to the lateral upper arm ( deltoid)....
