A member asked:

I've been noticing the bottom halves of my eyes are quite bloodshot in the morning? due to high bp? cause of concern?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

BP not likely: Redness of the eyes more common in the morning is most likely due to dryness and occasionally to conditions that impair the ability to fully close the eyes while asleep. If this is a consistent pattern, you should see your ophthalmologist for a better diagnosis and some treatment.
