A member asked:

Hi, i have a swelling on the supraclavicular fossa measuring 7.5*3.3mm, is the ultrasound report stated it was likely a lymph node, should i be worrie?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on symptoms: An isolated enlarged or swollen lymph node by itself is not necessarily a problem. But you need to take into context the symptoms associated with it. Has it increased or been more painful? Are there other lymph nodes in the neck or the axilla that are swollen, enlarged, or painful? It seems that your doctor is doing a work-up for lymphoma which can manifest in the lymph nodes.
