I stubbed my pinky toe a few days ago and it is very red, swollen, and sensitive to touch. i am not sure if it is broken because there is no bruising.

Fracture: With any type of trauma, there is always a risk of incurring fracture. Fractures typically present with swelling, redness, and pain. If toe is not getting better, i would advise seeing your doctor and have xray done.

It could be.: If it hurts to move it could be fractured. But a pinky toe rarely needs any special treatment. Sometimes buddy taping the 5th toe to the 4th toe helps. Also wearing a hard sole shoe helps.
