Exam: Impossible to tell based on your description. Association with spinach is also interesting. Red blood may be associated with simple things like hemorrhoids, fissures and other lesions of the anal canal. However, only a thorough exam will allow us to exclude other more significant issues such as vascular abnormalities, polyps and/or cancers.
