Need more informatio: I will advice that you follow up with your doctor or a gastroenterologist. We don't know if you had upper GI bleeding or lower GI bleeding, and if it is true bleeding in UGI and had black tarry stools or had upper GI bleeding causing vomiting blood.You may need endoscopy and/or colonoscopy or both and may be more tests to find out the cause and location of your GI bleeding.
