Rectal bleeding: There may not be cause for alarm but you do need to investigate to find out where the blood is coming from. It could just be a hemorrhoid but it could also be an internal intestinal problem. See if you have pain with the bowel movement or anal discomfort or itching and get it checked with your doctor.
