Maybe cramping: Possibly it is from uterine cramping. Up to 10% of women with an iud can experience uterine cramping that comes and goes. So the achy lower abdominal pain you're experiencing may be that.

IUD: You might have a pelvic inflamatory disease, misplaced iud, bladder infection, increased uterine cramping due to foreign body effect, constipation etc. It could be multiple things. Have your obgyn examine you.
