A member asked:

Im 36 weeks pregnant and having cramps. are those called braxon hicks?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: Braxton-hicks contractions are uterine contractions that do not progress to actual labor. What you are feeling may be little mild contractions but may also simply be the pressure and discomfort that is common in the last month of pregnancy.
