Could be : Severe abdominal cramping at 36 weeks pregnant definitely could be labor. The only way to know for sure is with an exam. If the cramping is coming and going and more frequent than every 10 minutes for more than a couple of hours you need to be seen and examined. Go to your OB's office or labor and delivery for an exam.
