Bio

Dr Choate came to Arkansas as a child of a Navy family. Having lived in many places, Arkansas has been his home since grade school. A college degree in chemistry from Tulane University preceded his medical education at UAMS. He was resident in Pediatrics at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. In 1980 Dr Choate joined The Pediatric Clinic and has enjoyed a busy, active practice since that time. He is married to Carolyn and they have four adult children, one grandchild and beloved dog, Oscar. Eclectic interests include reading, travel, fine food, genealogy. Dr Choate is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, has been a member of several pediatric and medical societies. He has now retired from active practice.
