Antihistamine: Unless you have respiratory problem or going into shock, Epinephrine is not that usual treatment. Try taking antihistamine up to 4 times per day and see if this helps. If not, consult your doctor to see if Prednisone may be needed. Usually we don't do a workup unless the hives have been present for more than 6- 8 weeks.
