NSAIDs are most: Commonly prescribed as they cut down the inflammation and can help a great deal with pain. There is a little controversy to this though, as some functional based physicians feel nsaids can actually cause poor healing in a tendonosis, leading to recurrences and ruptures. The same argument goes for steroid injections. If you agree with this, you can consider prp or prolotherapy as well.
