Chronic Injury: Tendonosis is a chronic injury resulting in micro-tears within the tendon junction of a muscle which has not healed yet. Most likely it won't heal without some intervention. Nowadays, prolotherapy, platelet based injections or even stem cell injections are being offered to help heal these tissues.
