What can i do if someone starts smoking beside me?

Discuss: It is no longer acceptable to plague your companions with your smoking. In many places smoking must be only done outside. If someone lights up next to you, after you do a fake cough once or twice, ask them to politely take their smoking to another part of the building or outside. Few smokers will not honor this request. If they don't then you must do the leaving.
