PFT....: During pulmonary function testing, many breathing maneuvers are done to measure your breathing. The measurements will determine if there is any obstructive or restrictive deficits. The test itself takes about 20-30 minutes and you will be instructed at each step. It is used to diagnose many different disorders.

PFT: Breathing test used to measure your lung capacity and air flow. Helps in diagnosis of certain lung conditions as well as staging. It is also used to follow a disease process to determine if there is progression.
