Variable: Spirometry is the most common pulmonary function test to assess for asthma and other obstructive lung diseases. My fee is $35. To assess for asthma, spirometry is done before and after albuterol and that fee is $55. For complete pfts in the hospital that checks diffusing capacity (dlco), total lung capacity and more, the cost can be upwards of several hundred dollars (at least).
