A member asked:

Can you tell me what are sinus headaches and what are the symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Misnomer: It is a misnomer for migraines because the location of pain happens to be over cheeks or forehead. These so called sinus headaches are intermittent. Pain of sinusitis would be constant pain over the sinus usually associated with fever. It should not be intermittent pain. Simply presence of fluid in the sinus on ct scan is not proof of sinusitis. Draining of sinuses does not control pain but does.
