How to tell if i have a tension headache or sinus headache?

True sinus ha almost always have other nasal symptoms, are worse in the am and parallel the degree of nasal congestion, colds and allergy.

Position of ache: Sinuses are hollow spaces around your nose. Sinus headaches are due to either infection in sinuses or inflammation due to allergies, it has diurnal variation at times and at times becomes worse with position. You will feel ache with pressure on sinuses. Tension headaches are due to stress, and it comes on when one is stressed. It is like a band of ache over your head or around forehead & temples.
