A member asked:

Can someone tell me how to know if my headache/sinus pain caused by a virus or something else?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You: Come in contact with virus, virus wants to take over and reproduce, your bodies immune system recognizes a threat, it calls all units available to attack the virus. Local released products cause edema, swelling and allow traffic of your immune cells. Things get all swollen, mucus builds up and hence pain.
