My doctor thinks that my severe headaches & disconnected feeling are because of sinus but these symptoms started 3 weeks before. what could this be?

Not so sure: Statistically, severe headaches are not usually due to sinus mechanisms, and disconnected or spacey feelings unlikely to be associated with garden variety sinus issues. Would get second opinion, as you may have migraine, but other possibilities do exist, and would not leave this to guesswork.

Sinusitis : Double vision is not associated with sinusitis. If the symptoms do not improve with treatment for the sinusitis then imaging studies and a visit to a headache expert or an ears nose and throat expert may be the next step.
