Maybe: Insect sensitivity with persistent exposure can cause havoc on skin. First, try to confirm if you truly have bug bites, because you may just be experiencing hives. Identifying triggers is notoriously difficult, but when they persist for >6wks, one should see a physician to rule out dangerous syndromes. If insects are involved, given the time of year, have an exterminator check for bed bugs/fleas

Not really : localized hives might possibly be due to insect bites,as bed bugs, or a local irritant in that area, try to change the bed or the couch, use local anti itch creams, if that doesn't work or persists for sometime, more than few weeks, seek medical evaluation, good luck
