I would check w: Your doctor. Apidex- p (phentermine) is a stimtulant that suppresses appetite. It has many potential side effects. I don't recommend amphetamine - like substances for my patients.

Not forever: Medications like adipex are not meant for long term use. I think it's reasonable to set some limits - what I tell people is that they must have BMI over 30 to start the medicine then lose 5% of body weight in 8 weeks. Then I only keep them on it for 12 weeks. These meds are best used for 12 weeks then taking a break. Use those twelve weeks to get into a healthier routine. Ling term use ineffectiv
