Fever: Fever represents the bodies response to infection. Though most pediatric fever are due to viruses, and must run their course, some are due to bacteria that may be susceptible to antibiotics. If he seems otherwise well, you can wait a day or two and see if the fever resolves. If he is not well, or the fever persists beyond a couple of days, you should see your pediatrician.
