Hi dr. my 5 year old daughter has been complaining about a headache for 2 days now and has been having high fever on and for 4 days now. should i be worried?

Possible infection: Your daughter may have a number of conditions, including an infection. Your PCP will consider encephalitis, meningitis, but more commonly a flu like illness may be the cause. The fever is prolonged and she should be seen by your pediatrician.
