A member asked:

Can you tell me is there any medicine or treatment for aids ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes.: There are many drugs available for treatment of hiv/aids. These medications are commonly prescribed in combinations of two or three at a time. When taken in combinations, these drugs can prolong life by decades. These medications are known as haart (highly active antiretroviral therapy). The drugs are expensive and some can cause side effects. See a doc who specializes in hiv/aids if you can.
