FLUID NEEDS: Many diet books or health advisors talk about water glasses/day or other supposed guides for proper health. The reality is we consume many foods/fluids that have water value.Applesauce & fruits are about 95% water,vegetables 60%, soup 96%, etc.You can go your whole life and NEVER drink water by itself. Use thirst as a guide. If you go pee every 6 hrs you are doing fine.
