Risky behavior: If the test is positive then you should have confirmatory testing. (this may have already been done reflexively by the lab) if it is negative, as long as you continue participating in risky behavior (unprotected sex, sharing needles, multiple sex partners, selling oneself for drugs, illicit drug use....) then you should continue routinely being tested for hiv.
