Allergy shots: Allergy shots can improve allergy-induced asthma but it usually takes a longer than 4 months. In some patients with asthma, allergy shots if given in too high of dose or too fast, may worsen their asthma. Be sure to check with your allergist-they should be well trained in answering all questions related to asthma and allergy injections.
