Medicine if possible: If you have aids, there are combinations of medications (taken together called highly active antiretroviral therapy haart). These drugs need to be taken regularly and as prescribed. Monitoring of CD4 cell counts and viral loads would be standard. It would be best to establish a patient / doctor relationship with a physician who specializes in HIV care. Be well.
