Night cough: Night time cough is a common symptom in people with asthma. Usually the cough (with or without wheezing or chest tightness) can occur between 2-3 am. Night cough can also be due to post nasal drip from allergies or sinus problems. Night cough may even be related to stomach acid reflux. A cough specialist, allergist or pulmonologist can assist in the diagnosis and develop a plan to help.
