Try hydrocortisone: Try Hydrocortisone 1 percent cream 2-3 times a day and see if the itching resolves in a few days. There are many possible reasons for the rash. If the rash doesn't resolve or is spreading, then see a doctor for an accurate diagnosis and correct treatment.
