Avoid wheat: Currently, the only treatment for food allergy is to strictly avoid that particular food. This means reading labels--by law, wheat must be listed on the ingredient list. There is ongoing research evaluating the role of desensitization for food allergies, but this is in clinical trials/experiments and not yet ready for general use.
