Constricted arch: It's most likely nothing more than a habit and something that you can stop if you are conscious of it and make a concerted effort to stop. Having a constricted arch does make it more likely for you to have your tongue hit your teeth prematurely. You would probably benefit from orthodontic treatment to straighten your teeth. Why don't you schedule a consult and take it from there?

Feels strange: And the tongue is the most tactile organ in your body, so it naturally migrates to any break in arch integrity. Why don't thou ask an Orthodontic Specialist to take a look and give you advice. If teeth are crooked, if they don't look right, they don't fit right, they don't work right. Follow your tongue's "advice," have your malocclusion evaluated. You'll be glad you did.
