Tooth sensitivity?: Slight ache could be a marginal gingival recession or decay at the cej. It also could be good impaction causing chronic gingival irritation that lead to acute pain. Since it is a slight ache it probably more of tooth sensitivity due to marginal gingival recesson or decay at cej. Check with your dentist for definitive diagnosis and followed up with treatment.

See a dentist: It all depends if the ache is from the tooth or from the gums. You should see a dentist to determine what is causing the pain, then proper treatment can begin to eliminate your pain. It's hard to determine an accurate diagnosis without looking at your teeth and gums and getting more information about what causes the pain, when it occurs, etc.
