Talk to,your dentist: Your dentist or oral surgeon will give you instructions after he extraction. This will vary a bit depending on the procedure used, if it was surgical and you have stitches you will have more pain and a longer healing. You will need to eat soft foods for a few days.

After 2-3 weeks: It can take up to 2-3 weeks to fully recover after having your wisdom teeth. When any swelling and bruising has disappeared, your mouth and face should return to normal.
