Varies: Wisdom tooth eruption will be different for everyone. Sometimes there is no pain. But frequently there is some redness, pain, swelling, and can be pressure on the other teeth. The best thing to do is to, have your dentist evaluate your wisdom teeth and provide the appropriate treatment.

Wisdom teeth: Sometimes wisdom teeth are valuable asset when healthy and properly aligned, but more often, they are misaligned, painful and require removal. The removal of wisdom teeth is one of the most common procedures. See your dentist for evaluation, x-rays and treatment if needed.

Waves: Many young people describe periods of pressure or pain of varying degrees separated by sometimes long intervals of no sensations at all. If there is plenty of room for them, they are just like any other molars but if there isn't enough room they are frequently targeted for removal.
