Uncertain: If you are 42 like your profile says, then never if you haven't had them grow yet. If they are impacted they likely will never erupt either. They usually form while a teenager and erupt anywhere around 18-25.

Already developed: Wisdom teeth begin growing at a very early age. At the age of 42, your wisdom teeth are fully developed, although they may not be visible in the mouth, appropriate x-rays can determine the position and development of your wisdom teeth if they are impacted or still beneath the gums.

Wide Variety: Although usually wisdom teeth (or third molars) erupt around 18-20 years old, there is a lot of variety in the timing. I have had patients as young as 12 begin to get these teeth. Sometimes the teeth do not come in at all and are called impacted. Most of the rest of the adult teeth come in closer to a more regular timing.

Wisdom teeth: Wisdom teeth generally erupt between the ages of 17 and 21, but can come in earlier or later. It is best to monitor this through clinical exams and x-rays with a dentist to evaluate whether or not there is room for them to come in or if they need to be removed when it is easier and has less associated risk. Consult with an Oral Surgeon, or your General Dentist.
