Less than ideal: If you completed orthodontic treatment ; are not satisfied with your result you should start by discussing this with the orthodontist who treated you. We have no way of evaluating the quality of care, the extent of your cooperation, and either the beginning or final occlusion attained. If unhappy with the dentist or explanation after that, consult with another orthodontist who is highly regarded.

Number of Questions: Did you see orthodontic specialist or generalist who likes doing orthodontics? Did you follow instructions carefully. Were appliances damaged often during treatment. Was the original treatment plan compromised because of the degree of difficulty. Did you wear traditional braces or an alternative appliance. Ask the dentist who treated you why the compromise. A second opinion may be advisable.
