Yes? No? Maybe?: Yes, if it's hopeless. No, if it can easily be saved and last a long time. Maybe for situations in-between. Ask the dentist who can see the tooth, an x-ray of the tooth and then discuss your options and long term prognosis.

Depends on severity: Normally, you should not if it can be avoided. But circumstances may dictate that the tooth needs to be removed, if not doing so can create damage for the first molar, etc. Ask questions and consider a second opinion.
