Pulpitis: Toothaches are caused by an inflammation of the pulp inside the tooth. The most common cause is a dental decay. The most common symptom, tooth is sensitive to temperature. Cold air, negative air pressure (sucking on the tooth) or hot/cold food and liquids are irritants. You cavity might be hidden between the teeth. See your dentist for x-ray and evaluation.
