Increases dopamine: Crystal methamphetamines produce euphoria through causing increases in all monoamines including dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine. It also has been described as inhibiting the important enzyme monoamine oxidase and this perpetuates the intense accumulation of monoamines in the synaptic cleft. The Dopamine makes it addictive. It can cause premature death and permanent nervous system damage!
