A member asked:

Docs can you explain, is there anyway a dentist can fix hairline cracks on the surface of a tooth?

Hairline cracks: Most are superficial, of no consequence and do not require treatment. They can be bonded with a tooth colored composite. For potentially problematic ones, porcelain laminates, or crowns to completely cover the tooth can be fabricated.
