Don't bother: Dentistry is not a diy profession. It takes years of education and experience not only to learn to extract the tooth, but to deal with the complications of a minor surgery. I admire your confidence, but you need to be realistic... You can't do it.

SURPRISE!!: Even if you think you can, we experienced dentists often have more trouble removing cracked teeth than we expect. And we have had years of training and experience. Try it and you are almost assuredly in for a big unexpected surprise! leave this task for a trained professional.
