Perfectly fine: Sugarless is the safest to keep your teeth healthy. Gum can be a nice exercise for your jaw muscles and helps salivary flow to help keep teeth rinsed off. Can be destructive if you become obsessive about it with frequency and duration and intensity. Enjoy it !

Moderation is a key: While chewing gum once in awhile is certainly not a cause for concern, chewing gum every single day as a habit definitely can be damaging to your health. Everything in moderation!

Suggest sugarless: Chewing sugarless gum is fine just as long as you do not experience any TMJ symptoms that can be exacerbated from the constant chewing action.
